Duke Phillips Ambassador Reflects on Summer in India

Duke University Phillips Ambassador Samantha Holmes studied abroad on the UNC Summer in India program in summer 2015. The Phillips Ambassadors Program reserves two scholarships for qualified Duke University undergraduates each year. Holmes, a political science major from Ridgefield, CT, was the third Duke undergraduate in the near 10-year history of the Phillips Ambassadors Program to earn placement in a class of Phillips Ambassadors. She recently shared her experience in India with Duke University's Office of Undergraduate Scholars and Fellows. We are proud to call Samantha a Phillips Ambassador, and hope she enjoyed getting to know a few Tar Heels during her time in India and on Carolina's campus.
